Birth Your Destiny With Your Words! 2

Hey guys, how'd the day go?
Yesterday, we started this topic with understanding the efficacy of words and how that God requires us to consistently speak His words because they have the life that our destiny needs.
see here for more

I rounded off with Ezekiel being an example of someone that spoke into reality the revelation given to him by God Himself.
Prophet Ezekiel is very popular with the "dry bones shall rise again" story in the bible. But while a preacher talked about the dry bones in church, something caught my eyes in the course of Ezekiel's dialogue with God. But before the dialogue started, Ezekiel, in chapter 37 vs 1, explicitly said that the spirit of God took him to a valley of dry bones, which signifies lifelessness.
So, let's say that for us contemporary Christians, God leads us somewhere that is seemingly unfruitful and then He tells us that that is the vineyard from where our fruits will come. We tend to think in our hearts 'does God really know what He is saying'? I'm sure we've been there at one point or another.

Ezekiel too probably had these thoughts flowing his mind and emphasized 'lo, they were very dry' ( vs 2). As though God saw His doubt, He asked the prophet, 'son of man, can these bones live'? In absolute trust in God, Ezekiel willed it back to God and said'only You know' (vs 3). More like telling God- "it's your call, Lord".

Then God began to tell Him what to say (which represents the scriptures, the Word) and He spoke exactly what God said (which for us, is declaring those things which we have heard God speak to us).
Verses 4-6 did not show that anything happened to those bones as at the time God was speaking, but in verse 7 as Ezekiel prophesied ( which is more of forth-telling or declaring for us and not foretelling) things began to happen. Let's see what verse 7 says
"So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking and the bones came together, bone to his bone".
Wow!!!

The point is this, nothing happened until Ezekiel kept prophesying. Note that he first said He prophesied as he was commanded. Then he said "as I prophesied...". This connotes a continuous process. He kept declaring what God said and as he did that CONTINUOUSLY, the dried bones which seemed to be scattered all over the valley started taking shape... To be continued

I trust this has been as insightful for you as it was, (and still is) me. I'll leave you ponder on this vivid example and I trust the Holy Spirit to give us even deeper understanding of declaration beyond what I have written here.
The concluding part comes up tomorrow...
