Birth Your Destiny With Your Words! 1

Have  you ever wondered why most motivational speakers emphasize the need to repeat certain phrases like "I am Great"! or "I can  do it"! or "I can excel"! Well, it's because they understand the power of words, or better still they understand the principle behind continuous proclamation and how that when we speak a certain thing continuously, our minds get to absorb it. Then, we believe it, and eventually begin to work towards it.

It won't surprise us as Christians that these principles were taken from the Bible. But the question is how many of us actually use this spiritual principle to better our lives? As sons of the Most High (male and female alike),
we have greater advantage over ordinary men who use this principle. but don't speak the words of the Spirit.

When Jesus said that the words He speaks to us are spirit and they are life (See John 6:63), we know He was telling us to pay more attention to those words. However, what caught my attention the most (while meditating and preparing for this post) was His use of words and tenses.
First, please note that if Jesus wanted us to pay mere attention to (or just read) the scriptures, He probably would have said something like "the words that you hear Me say..." But instead, He used the word "SPEAK". This means a lot. Jesus understood (during His time on earth) the efficacy of speaking/ proclamation and more importantly, speaking and proclaiming the words of life to our spirit man. Also note that Jesus spoke these words in present tense. He didn't "the words I have spoken to you". Again He said "speak to you". This sends a message that the words embedded in the scriptures are to be proclaimed on a continuous basis. They are ever fresh!!!

Speaking of which, there are certain revelations that God has shown us at one time or another and more often than not, He backs it up with His word. He expects us to keep speaking that word and revelation into reality.
Truth is as we speak, those things are formed in the realm of the spirit and the more we declare, the more defined and clearer it becomes...

We'll continue from here tomorrow, with Ezekiel as our example...
